Pontoon Boat Ride and Monona History
Friday, July 13, at 10:00 am.
The R.O.M.E.O. (Retired Older Men Eating Out) outing will be held on Friday, July 13 . We'll enjoy a pontoon boat ride on beautiful Lake Monona, leaving from Schluter Beach at 10:00 am and returning at approximately noon. A light snack will be included compliments of Harmony Living Center in McFarland.
Cost is $5 for the boat ride. The Schluter Beach dock is not fully accessible. If you need accommodations that are not available at Schluter Beach, you are welcome to board at Tenney Park.
We are fortunate that Jerry Wells has volunteered to narrate a history of Monona during the boat ride. If two boats are used, the same history will be narrated on both boats.
